Not gonna debate Shocka I like you BUT that said.
Wrestling is sports entertainment, that said the best guys at least in the 90s and early 00's had amazing skill sets, tolerance for pain, theatrical/mic skills... I think wrestling back then was nice... it was a cool soap opera for kids/young men, especially with all the R storylines and bunch of hot fukkin bitches (Sable, Sunny, Lita, Trish, Marlena, Kiebler, etc)...
MMA fighters obviously take the pain tolerance to extremes... that said... Ronda cant compete in MMA anymore, her style has been studied and exposed, she has ZERO boxing and her BJJ is limited... she relays in Judo like a 1 trick pony... most female fighters have advanced and are not that one dimensional (Nunes, Holm, Cyborg, Shevchenko)... any of those chicks would destroy Ronda today.
She had no choice economically, her big $$$$$$ deals fell when she was exposed, she can't act,her hype is gone... she needs to make a buck.

all valid points... WWE is not a sport though. More like an Athletic showing (which I have been to when I was a kid). MMA is about as close as we get when it comes to the fight till death type of atmosphere... Differs from the major sports because those have comparable talent across the board, but the elitist nature in putting it all together (pats/Bellichick, houston Astros, moneyball A's back in the day) is what separates them from something like MMA.. Hard to compare them. Personal opinion though and I'm not about to knock Rousey for striking while the iron is still semi hot because when the window for making money closes on you, it happens fast.Comment -
