Remember Tony Conigliaro? Had 100 home runs by age 22 then was hit in the face by a jack Hamilton pitch and he was never the same again. In fact since then on day games at Fenway they have a black tarp covering the seats in straight away centerfield so the hitters aren’t blinded by the pitch.

Some of those guys played amazing baseball during the steroid era. Aaron judge might have some staying power, only if he’s clean though.

Darin Erstad had a damn good career. Look at his 2000 season:

He wound up with 240 hits, a franchise record, and batted .355 with 366 total bases, 121 runs scored and 25 home runs. Oh yeah, he also stole 28 bases and broke a major-league record with 100 RBIs while batting leadoff.

1 year wonder. 1st year goes big with the HR's but then teams scout and game plan around ur hot zone and figured out you cannot hit a high n tight fastball and game over. took the league a min to figure judge out. now he needs to actually get a good swing mechanics or hes riding bench

He does not have a natural swing, it can break down real easy

Right now he is over powering the ball

                                                        Mitchell was good

MLB doesn't have a face right now. Trust me, if Judge was walking down the street, average fans would go "damn he's tall; he's gotta be in the NBA"
