Virginia is the same team they’ve been for 4 or so years now, just with different players. Slow the game down and make it a defensive struggle. Duke is loaded with the best freshman class in the country along with the senior Grayson Allen. If Virginia can dictate tempo they have a good chance at the upset. But Cameron is an incredibly tough place to play.

Until recently I'd have said uva but duke has finally started showing signs of playing defense their last few. Granted that was against pit and wake, uva will make them work much harder for longer stretches of clock but if that same defensive effort is there from duke I think they win and probably cover.

I agree and I liked it at 137, wouldn't touch at 133.5. Think it played somewhere right around 130-135.

If duke continues playing defense way they have shown the last few I think it somewhere along the lines of 70-60.

I don't see Virginia winning at Duke. Duke can score inside and out. Virginia is due to get their doors blown off. Duke has plenty of talent to spread the court and let their superior talent take Virginia one on one to the basket. Teams that have bigs that can pass always hurts the Virginas because their double teams leave wide open shooters.

Duke is yet to go on a run, they will go on at least one or two big runs at home. On the other side, UVA has not had a scoring drought, a lot of road games they usually have one or two bad scoring droughts. Lets see if both happen. Just got me some Duke +5.5.

duke can turn it around sure, but they showed literally nothing positive to make me think they will.

i like to take 2h teams that are executing well and just missing shots they should make, or if the other team is just making a lot of tough shots....neither things true here.

Yeah I agree with this. Personally I enjoy watching UVA play, but don't see them winning a title with their style of play on offense. Would help if he got better talent, he isn't winning championships with the recruits he gets. Sure he has had Brogdon, Guy and a few others but doesn't compare to what the UNC's and other elite powers get.

They can beat talented teams like duke when they are young, but there will always be teams that have the nba talent mixed with solid juniors and senior holdovers.

This is an odd year where the super loaded teams as far as 1 and done type guys are also ridiculously young overall.
