When I was in school I did a lot for volleyball there. So ok there was this league and me and the other really good players had like an all star team. As captain of said team one of the teachers came up to me and said can we put this guy a year behind you that is having a tough time on your team - he's really being picked on by the other kids and is having a tough time, it could really help him turn things around, you guys will still of course easily win. I remembered that I had seen him in the park in a circle of bigger kids each taking turns kicking or punching him as he tried to escape, so I said yes.

Well what ended up happening is we did put him on the team and each game as we were clobbering the other team he would be screaming at them about how much they sucked, etc. We ended up kicking him off the team ourselves.

Moral of the story - there are some people that cannot be helped, or liked.
