    Why??
    Why would an organization fire a coach who currently has his team in the playoffs?

    Don't quite understand these types of moves.

    But, then again...NBA should be abolished, so maybe this is the "norm"

      I think they are thinking that they should be doing better than they are doing.

          Honestly I think they right, that team has the look of better than 8th best in the east. No reason they don't learn to play some defense and become 3rd/4th in east at worst w that level of talent they have.

                          I guess that makes sense, but wouldn't waiting to see how the season plays be a better plan? This interim guy really can't be "better" can he? Seems like it should be an after season type move.

                              Phil Jackson was the interim guy when Doug ???? was fired. Pat Riley was the interim guy when ??? was fired.

                                  Doug Collins was the guy fired from the Bulls in the early Jordan years... the rumor about town was that he was boinking Reinsdorf's daughter or wife or something like that
