June 19, 2000 Game 6 Lakers championship riots was a GREAT night!
I was 13 at the time and vividly remember the entire city erupting in tears of joy immediately after the final buzzer went off. Kobe and Shaq brought us a championship after a 12 year drought. Everyone was ecstatic. Lakers were in the locker room spraying champagne everywhere as Reggie miller and the rest of the pacers locker room was completely silent as they struggled to figure out what went wrong after coming so far.

Browsing YouTube, I came across a video of the riot. We celebrated all night. All races put aside their petty differences and came together as one. Blacks, Whites, Mexican gang bangers and even nerdy ass Asians took a break from studying to come out and celebrate. The video is at the very beginning.
