The best metaphor here is a turd.

On my original poll which was launched on a Monday, Rudy lost by a two to one margin. On this one a little closer yesterday as everyone was in 100% party mode, and drifting back to reality today as the reality of work tomorrow is sinking into their heads.

Now picture a giant turd walking into a restaurant - basically Rudy, every time he "logs" into players talk. Everyone immediately wants it out as soon as possible.

Now picture that same giant turd walking into a party on New Years Eve, in a suit. Everyone is partying and wants everyone around them to have fun but the result is skewed because of that increased empathy and alcohol consumption - thus the early result of this poll.
