They didn't lose but it is big ten matchup anything is possible. B1G teams care more about their conference games then any other conference in both football and basketball. Hence the almost perfect bowl football games yet in B1G football everyone was beating up on everyone upset after upset. Anyhow it was too big of a spread MSU is not Purdue. Purdue can cover the inside a lot better. Haarms can block easily I think people saw this game and thought well if Purdue can beat rutgers by 30 so can MSU. You are comparing two completely different teams and the way they are built. I think this game will prepare MSU for Michigan. They will come even more ready for that game. I also think MSU will stack up better against Michigan then Purdue did. It should be a good game.

I've always questioned big10 officiating for the home team.

It seems the conference is more about equality then putting a team out there that can be universally recognized as no. 1 in any sport.
