I like some hip hop, just not my favorite music. To be honest I've never heard of the dude. I'm sure I could find it online, but I don't really care. I don't watch football for halftime shows.

i'm going to go half contrary, half agreement..

i think the performance and presentation is pretty interesting. i iike it in some ways...

BUT...

on the music front, it is hideous as is most (all?) hip-hop music that i've been exposed to. i try to check out jay-z or kanye songs (only one i know is the new york song, which is good) and it's just absolute garbage.

do young fans actually like listening to this? or do they just think it's cool?.. for me, it's seriously like putting some music over jack-hammering

Isn't Kendrick Lamar supposed to be the "best" rapper right now or one of them? I could head down to the Shelter & get a Papa Doc or B Rabbit w/ more skill than him.

all you need to know about modern music/entertainment/etc. is this:

go to TMZ.COM, scroll through their headlines and calculate what % of their stories involve quality entertainers (of any ilk). today was only saved by harvey weinstein who isn't an entertainer but was very powerful in production (fyi, i hate what weinstein stands for).... the rest is kardashian, oj, former child actor dying, some obscure rapper and his cfb bet with drake, reality star, wwe dvia etc.
