for years if I said something to pro-legalization activitsts regarding
how stoned drivers would lead to more highway deaths, we were
ridiculed - those who advocated for cannabis made it sound so harmless
and so safe - BUT WE KNEW BETTER.

you can't talk sense to potheads - and those who stand to make much money
off getting everyone stoned.

this assessment of mine has nothing at all do with my opinion on marijuana use,
I just don't think it should be legal - and sends the wrong message to youth.

Guess what happens when millions who never got high before are behind the wheel
of a car - including older people and 16 year olds - when prescription drug abuse
and smartphone use, panel apps in cars are already killing more on the roads than alcohol ?
Add marijuana to this equation - and you have roads with a significant statistical
threat to your life whether driving or walking.

the majority of marijuana users have always used marijuana in conjunction
with other substances - with booze, with pills, with narcs - anyone who
wasn't born yesterday knows this fact.

So, Californians, enjoy the coming road deaths.

Hey snowy booze has been legal forever and we both know driving drunk is even worse than driving high. I agree we are more coherent behind the wheel without the chronic but it didn't stop alcohol which is worse so i dont see this being enough of a roadblock to stop this movement. They should also ban kids under 5 from being allowed in the vehicle becuase that is just as distracting as getting high or drunk or being on your cell

driving drunk is not necessarily worse than driving high.
it depends on the driver and the circumstances.
but that is not my point, if you read the post.
statistics don't lie - roadway deaths will certainly rise in California,
as will other illegal activity.
