They finished strong but that's against Tenn, Vandy, Ark, Uconn, Idaho. Wouldn't hang my hat on the "strong finish" angle.

Tex has a lot of guys benched but still has more talent. I hate betting on 1st year coaches in their 1st bowl with their new team. But still, Tex better players and better coaching and possibly a contender next year.

Two penalties single-handedly thwarted two promising drives for the Horns to close the first half.

Hopefully UT can find a way to win but they have no killer instinct whatsoever. They could easily let this slip away the same way they did against Texas Tech in the season finale.
