I actually think FSU will play with some motivation here. If it was still Jimbo, I would 100% agree with you. Might be close early, then FSU may start pulling away because they've completely worn out the Southern Miss D-Line.

Or I could be wrong and FSU will show no interest in this game, which is definitely a possibility.

I was all over Florida State until I read the game write-up on CBS Sportsline. FSU has key players sitting a slew of injuries and is facing a team that would love nothing more than to beat a BIG name school in a bowl. All of the motivation points towards Southern Miss giving it their all and with over 2 TDs in points being given I have to take it.
