I have no opinion on Rosen one way or the other. However, he was seen warming up before the game and reportedly wanted to play but couldn't pass concussion protocol.

There are less than 30 competent QBs in the league and only half a dozen are rock solid. Why not take a chance on a player who has even a 10% chance of becoming competent in 2-3 years and 1% chance to become a star? Why waste high draft picks on anything but a QB in today's NFL?

I'm not talking about specifically Rosen but clearly taking a shot at a QB seems like a very logical choice for most teams.
