FanDuel and Draftkings

I have never played at either site. I was just wondering if anyone here plays at either site regularly? And if so, what are the benefits to playing there vs a Sportsbook? I'm hoping someone can give me a Pros and Cons list of playing at a Daily Fantasy site vs playing at a Sportsbook.

Also... does anyone on here play at ONLY daily fantasy sports sites such as Fanduel and Draftkings and not at any Sportsbooks... and if so... why?

i prefer draftkings, but there really are no pros/cons, it's just a totally different game between daily fantasy and just betting games outright

I play Draftkings....usually just one or two lineups a night.

I never used fan duel. Last year I hit 30k on a 4 dollar entry draft kings in nba .....and they use wire to payout....it was in my bank account in 2 Days. Very quick payouts.

If you hit a big one at low level entry.....that’s huge. I will never give that much back because I will only play the big payouts with low entry fee ones

I think it’s much easier on nights where the cards are short 4-5 games total. On a 10 game slate I never seem to do well.

Had a good night. I actually needed a good last minute from K Leonard in San Antonio. He hit a 3, had 2 rebounds and two steals in last 1;50 of game and it moved me from from 14th to 1st place....but I had additional players that had great nights obviously. Funny thing is...I hate spurs, but now, I will never bad mouth him or his team again. Lol

used to play but became way too time consuming and i lost interest. i was plus money so i eventually pulled me money out. now i played free rolls here and there and use that money to play in contests. its fun but rake is high, its worth throwing some money in there and playing in the big gpp that show up. free rolls are less often

But hitting big is how you make the money. Very hard to just win a little each night.

I play on both sites but prefer Draftkings. I used to prefer Fanduel but Draftkings offers more sports and their scoring system is more flexible than Fanduel. Both sites do handle payouts well through Paypal so there's no problems there. Its a different thing betting on sports versus playing Daily fantasy but I enjoy watching sports so I do both.

My draft kings account since starting is plus 26,743 as of today. Now of course if you hit a big one like I did .....it is worth it. But if you don’t....you will most likely lose in the long run. It’s like anything else....if you spend the time and effort it can pay off....you see the same guys winning or near the top all the time. There is a certain skill to it... I don’t claim to possess that skill but I’ve seen people make a ton but it is a low percentage of “pros”

I think it’s a lot like those huge poker tournaments in terms of winning. You need certain breaks to go your way.
