Who knows, anything can happen in playoffs but they were certainly the favorite to win NFC and that not really debatable. Bright side for ya'll is team in good shape for next several years. Only real concern is some retarded team will probably hire swartz as their hc even tho it would be a big mistake, he a very good defensive coordinator, few exceptions but most don't make for good head coaches which he kinda already proven he not.

Banker this coaching staff as a whole makes me worried. I didn’t like the hiring of Andy Reid Jr. and he’s been badly out coached the last 3 weeks. Wentz’s talent hid a lot of his short comings.

Certainly you not saying philly won't be the favorite to win the NFC east tho? Contingent on wentz recovering properly of course. I mean who knows what will happen in a off-season but right now eagles obviously the favs to win that division again. Seattle's run coming to a end I believe, really don't see them as much more than a decent team fighting for wild card anytime soon, rams and niners on the rise and other than Wilson most the hawks on the decline.

As I said I'm no fan so doesn't hurt my feelings. So much happens in offseason now days it really impossible to say, and im certainly not saying my opinion any better than yours!!

I'm not even saying they be favs for whole NFC, just the NFC east as that starting to look like weakest division in NFC. South obviously strong as hell with bucs being worst team and they have lots of talent to work with moving forward!! West is gonna be a beast in the coming years with rams and niners on the rise big time! Seattle still being solid, who knows what cardinals will look like? In north Discount double bitch coming back, Vikings not going anywhere but up, maybe lions can find stafford a good coach, bears have young franchise qb in place and really some WRs away from having a strong roster. NFC east looks to me like weakest NFC division by a mile which outta keep philly as a viable playoff contender next few years.

Relax you philly homer... Eagles had a cake schedule this year. Next year they play SEVEN playoff teams compared to the TWO this year Also the usual ,Cowboys and Giants twice , and the Texans. Last time and NFC East team won b2b in the division...2003-2004. They might never have an easier path than they just did.

They are 4-4 on the road. Two losses against the Rams and Vikings. The other two are flukes...ATL when Kamara got knocked out on the first drive. He's the biggest part of their offense. The other loss was last week vs TB when they literally were trying to lose the game. Saints can go up with any team in the NFC at this point and play anywhere.

Don't just look at stats, actually interpret the numbers...Philly is fool's gold without Wentz...he was a stud, they were nearly 100% conversion on 3rd/4th down and 1....he had too many intangibles that Foles can't replace.

A bad offense is a good defense’s worst enemy. I think all it would take is one of these teams to jump on the eagles early and it’s a wrap. The eagles defense has been good, but don’t under estimate how much Wentz helped them. Just constantly moving the ball on offense. Converting on all those short yardage situations to give the defense extra time to rest. The cowboys did that the whole last year. Manage the game and clock, and don’t tire out your defense. The drop off is going to be tremendous.
