Do any of you guys keep track of all your bets using Excel or other tools? If so, are you able to identify any trends/patterns for certain sports?

#3I don't really track my history because I don't want to be reminded of my losses and I don't want to get a big head when I hit long winning streaks and when I'm killing it.. Every day is a new day for me... Although I am starting to track lately with the 5dimes betting contest for my best pick for each day.. However, I typically have 3-12 bets riding every day though..
That's worked out for me over the years and continues to work for me today.. I know I'm winning when I see my book balances consistently go up every morning when I begin to cap the major sports for the next day.. In gambling it's always about the future not the past...
Trends are key in capping sports though for sure.. I lean on them alot.. I always focus in on the last 5 games for any team in any sport.. It's always about what have you done for me lately.Comment -

#4Yes , I track all my bets , that's one reason , determine trends .
NHL , Bottom teams on 4 game or more road trip or Top teams on 4 game or more homestand .
I do it as a 4G chase because Game 1 hitting 70% so far
Game 1 is 48-20 overallComment -

#6I'm currently tracking Moving margins, Dropping odds, h2h records, standings, etc... It definitely helps me determine which leagues to avoid. I do need a lot more data for this to actually work. Currently working on creating some kind of system if one even exists.Comment -

#7Well I track my bets for each and every day.. Yes, I check to see if I won or lost my bets for each day.. I bump a few of my bets in threads on this forum lately..Originally posted by jjgoldJibby so you have no clue if your winning or losing ??!
For years in the past I really don't care or have a clue for exact numbers, but I know I'm winning in each sport every year because of my book balances and when I cash out.. I have a good idea month to month with my winnings or losses in every sport I bet..
I don't care about the past JJ.. I care about the future.. That money is already spent, invested or gone.. I guess I can go on each book and look at my history from year to year but I don't care too... I know I'm winning..
The only sport I struggle with from year to year is the NFL, all others I'm pretty solid...
For example in the NBA I'm having an outstanding year so far. Winning percentage is off the chart... That's my best sport so far.. NHL is good so far, MLB was good for this year too.. NFL I might be down or close to even.. MMA I struggled a bit this entire year also unlike in years past..Comment -

#8I'm actually starting to track 80/20%
Looking at CBB, teams getting 20% or less money are hitting.
As your other thread , Aztec was 19% closing
Figure they cover , we'll see .Comment -

I've been checking the big public plays , mainly < 33% in leagues but CBB <20% seems to be doing well .Comment -
