Playing the south course.....spoke with the Super there as they've over seeded due to the PGA event there in Jan but said course is playing great....will be cart path only though

I remember in my college days there was a steakhouse right across the street from the race track....still there?

Couple places right across....if you want a superb meal go to the Market just a mile or so from the track.

One of the nicest places that I've ever been. My best friend moved there with his wife for 3 years, they're back now, but the free trips & 4 hour drives to Vegas were great.

Love Fairmont. LeBron hangs out there in the off-season as do a few other celebrities because it is kinda tucked away in the back part of Del Mar. Gorgeous course.

There's a few good sportsbook and track Casino's just across the Mexican border from San Diego. Walk in and play with cash, walk out with cash... I use to drive across and go all the time in my late 20's for quick cash action.. San Diego you are right there... Just a thought..

If I lived in San Diego today I'd still probably go across once in a while and play.. Security is tight as well at the Casino's.. My friends and I never got jacked or hassled anyways...
