They overturned it because the ball moved when it hit the ground.

His football move was his reach (after he caught it as it wouldn't of been possible if he did not have control the ball) over the goal line........

Yes, we all saw that after he was down, he turned and reached for the end zone, that is when he placed the ball, across the goal line already at that point, and when it hit the ground (in the end zone mind you) it moved.

HOWEVER.... if you can catch a ball and voluntarily give yourself up, as they often do to save time at the end of games, why can't he be called down at the point in time he caught the ball and his knees hit, preceding the turn, and stretch, and preceding the reach into the end zone, which subsequently resulted in the ruling?

There was a catch, there were 2 knees down, he was not touched.

Only after his knees were down, did he reach out across the plane of the endzone (TD) and then subsequently touch the ball to the ground (ground caused fumble).

Second call was Carolina TD. Guy catches a ball, feet are not in. Lands on his back, which is half out of bounds, yet they rule it a TD?

So how can knees down in play be ruled incomplete, but no body part other than half a back laying in end zone, ruled complete?

It wasn't a fumble, it was an incomplete catch.

yea, that one was pretty fuckin awful... year later they shafted Odell Beckham vs the pats late in the 4th qtr (surprise surprise)...

what gets overlooked in that dec catch is the fact that romo had the fuckin nut sack to make that throw on 4th down. Thats coming from a life long giants fan. glad he retired. Was saying last year that romo was light years better than Dak... glad people woke up this year and saw it for themselves.
