Adrian Gonzalez just got traded and then DAF'd from the Braves. Lol
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves completed a stunning five-player trade on Saturday headlined by Matt Kemp’s return to Los Angeles.

According to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers acquired Kemp in a 4-for-1 deal that saw Adrian Gonzalez,*Scott Kazmir,*Brandon McCarthy*and Charlie Culberson traded to the Braves, along with cash considerations. Gonzalez was reportedly designated for assignment by Atlanta after the deal was completed.

    WTF is going on lol.

    Salary dumps all around.

Matt Kemp probably won't play for the Dodgers either.

Yeah, they gonna have to keep Kershaw after next year and other players.

But why would Adrian get Daf? Who will pick him up?

Yankees lack power at 1st base. Byrd no good. Team needs veterans.

Adrian will go to the AL. He will be a DH from here on out. Kind of in the same boat as Beltran was last year. Too many better fielding options to risk putting him on defense regularly.

Saw that Boras is representing Mike Pelfrey. Would love to hear his sales pitch for signing him.

doubtful. no one is going to pay 21m for a .265 18 78 hitter. would be worse than the edwin encarnacion signing was and that was bad. at least edwin has some HR power, but that's all. this ancient 35 yr old has lost his power, average has declined steadily and can't run. even chris young would put up better numbers than this stiff. of course atlanta will have to pay the last year so maybe some team will take a flyer on him for the ML minimum. i'd rather try to develop a younger player
