Same old Nova team. Methodical, great defense and they always get the best shot. They don't really have one guy who can light it up, but a lot of guys who can go get you 15 points.

I think it's Temple or pass, but I'd have to look into them more.

The guard play that Temple has is fantastic. Having Josh Brown back as a senior PG has been big for this team because he can be the true PG they need. Shizz Alston and Quinton Rose are 2 of the most underrated players in the country and they can use Obi to guard Bridges. As always this is not a banner team for Nova in the frontcourt and for Temple that's big because the front court is Temples weakness as well. In the game against Lasalle, Nova had a lot of trouble with Pookie Powell and BJ Johnson, guards that can slash and take you off the dribble and Temple has the same talent if not better. This is a big time rivalry game and Fran Dunphy seems to pull of an upset every year of this kind. The liacouras center will be sold out and its literally the biggest game for Temple in some time. Temple has among the best RPI and SOS in the country and they are surely built for a game like this. I cant wait to get in there and see the atmosphere/. Nothing better than Philly basketball! Last team to be beat Nova in the big 5 was temple...

Villanova doesn’t lose these Big 5 games anymore. Temple is decent this year but Nova simply executes better over the course of a 40 minute game. They almost always win the turnover battle and their 1-2 punch of Bridges and Brunson is one of the best in the country.

Now having said that I’m a little surprised it only opened -7. I’m not surprised it quickly went up to 8.5.

Actually agree with Twizzler here. I see Temple coming out strong, energetic, maybe grabbing the lead early. But Nova grinds teams down over time and their talent eventually takes games over. That’s why I like the number for Temple +5 1st half. Not so sure about the full game though.

I don’t think there’s any value. I’m not saying it can’t hit because of course it has a shot but I don’t see this as a game where Temple jumps on Nova early.
