When I watched this vid yesterday I wanted to scream Notre Dame, that was my first thought . . .
second thought - video while driving...

third and most importantly was that you did not miss your exit
the exit that you were passing, 20 westbound will take you to my house (ok, kinda close) after a few hours or so...

Fun Fact:

The "0" in its route number indicates that US 20 is a coast-to-coast route. Spanning 3,365 miles (5,415 km), it is the longest road in the United States, and the route roughly parallels that of Interstate 90 . . .

That exit he blew by ( route 20 westbound ) would have taken him literally 5 miles past the town I GREW UP IN!!!!! We used to trip our balls off as teenagers on top of the mountain and watch the jets going overhead on their take off and approaches to BDL Airport.

I was just on that stretch of road last week... so I drove passed the places you refer to...

I used to do similar shit at the AFB near my home, watch the B 52`s, KC 135`s, Galaxy C 5A`s do touch and goes...
Saw Air Force One the year Obama visited Cooperstown - less than one mile from my home while it was on approach to the same AFB. The days before had a ton of military air traffic.
