I think Peters had to at least make an appearance back on the sidelines to avoid a fine. It's the only thing that makes sense.

They've done this quite a few times before IIRC, just like the Dolphins would do back in the day. Go undefeated early, then piss it all away. And every year, people act like they've never seen this movie before.

The greatest thing about all of that was after all the penalties that were enforced on the play it only cost KC 1 yard
