Purdue Laying 8 to Louisville

Kind of interesting line. Better team catching 8 points. Books expecting a Purdue blowout?

Purdue is better than their record, but still wasn't expecting this high of a line.

Lets get some discussion for this game, I think its Purdue or pass but not sure I can lay that many.

Better team catching points? I think A pretty strong case can be made Purdue is the better team here despite the bogus rankings.

I lean Purdue but little more than I want to lay and never love backing a team fresh off a island tourney. I do love fading teams like ville who been sitting home getting fat off cup cakes when they get their 1st taste of real competition, especially when it also their 1st game away from home.

I kinda agree, I wouldnt trust Purdue to necessarily cover 8 either but Louisville may not be too ready for this game. Purdue looked kinda soft in tourney to me, they rely on the 3 so much, got outrebounded by Tenn. by about 10, W. Kentucky even outrebounded them.

Big10 not looking very good this year outside of MSU. My damn Gophers about blew a 20 point lead to Bama the other night, Wisky can't get to 40 (if they went to OT they still weren't pacing for 40), and teams that rely on 3s don't beat teams that can play D (See Florida vs Duke).

I'll take the 8.5 and watch the Lou D...if they slow this down might get a good 2nd half under play.

Purdue is the better team, but i swear their style of play usually creates close games. They aren't really going to run away from anyone which is why laying that many is tough with them. Which is why they always lose early in the tourney, they play through their bigs.

Louisville has an injury I think but either way the line screams Purdue. They’re still good even without Swanigan but they don’t have a go-to scorer. Solid team though and they’re home.

Yes, obviously. Not sure what your point is though? People forget Louisville was a consensus Top 10 team. When all the news broke in August and Pitino was let go, we were dropped in all polls. We brought in a Top 10 recruiting class also. Sorry I was providing my insight on this team compared to Purdue who I also follow.

Whatever happens in this game, I think UL will be the better team as conference play gets going and especially by March Madness. I’ll critique UL and there are plenty of games I don’t feel good about during a season. UL doesn’t get 8.5 points much, it’s rare and that’s for a reason. Good game so far.
