got 2 - 55'' 4k LED HDR tv's at walmart for $300 each. Waited in line 30mins, had more tvs than buyers so didn't even need to show up early, and was out of the store and on my way home in less than 10mins.

I almost turned around and left lol Parking lot was about 80% full by the time I got there but figured I might as well check. There was about 30 people ahead of me and still 30 tvs left after me.

Some stores had a limit of 6 per person which is crazy. I could only get 2 or I would have bought a couple more. Picture is so nice, now just have to wait 2-3years until OLEDs actually go on sale.

the OLEDs are amazing and they know it. The expected price drops for OLED in the next year or 2 are not very good compared to LED this year. As of now they have no need to discount much more because OLED is the best thing out there.

Talked to my cousin yesterday. He did the line at Best Buy on Thanksgiving for the $180 4K 50" TV. He got in line at 10AM with a lawn chair and brought a portable battery to keep his phone charged so he could stream the football games while waiting. They went down the line and passed out tickets at 3:30PM for the doorbuster items. They had 35 TVs and he was 14th. Once he got the ticket, he went home and had dinner and went back at 7 to pick it up when the crowd died down.
