I was a paramedic for 5 years, I would not be surprised at all. Major FD's pay well with amazing benes. One of the better gigs going.

I assume your base salary is probably posted somewhere as public record and then you kill the OT. You guys have one of the better unions around

I'm not good enough to grind out profits anymore. Now I just bet big on my most confident plays.

For a while I tried flat betting and did TERRIBLE. I realized I won at a much higher % on certain plays and that I could to some degree forecast those plays, so I went back to a 1-5 scale. Now I'm on a 1-100% scale

I've done good lately and been incredibly lucky. I've lost my fair share lately but they've been smaller bets and I've pretty much swept the board the last few weeks on my bigger bets... I'm due
