According to North Carolina law, having sex counts as a malicious act, so Cox could be at fault.
What a turn of events. In the lawsuit, Cox is also being accused to sending a photo of his penis to the woman on SnapChat and also sending inappropriate texts.
Cox inked a huge extension in the offseason, so paying for the lawsuit won't be much of a problem. However, this isn't a good look at all for the talented defenseman.
We'll see how this whole thing plays out
