Are they willing to do this to keep Roger Goodell? Goodell has helped make the owners a lot of money, but the league is starting to implode. Ratings are down, sponsors are upset, public image is being tarnished by numerous issues such as the anthem, handling of DV issues, CTE, etc that Goodell has handled very poorly.

Jerry Jones may be taking the Zeke suspension personally, but the questions he's raised about Goodell is spot on. Is Goodell really worth paying $50 million/year, lifetime use of a private jet and lifetime insurance for his family, retired players struggle to get adequate health care for their injuries during their playing careers?

I don't get why the owners are so hellbent on extending Goodell, the league is starting to crash under his watch.
