I'm not that surprised. Italy has been garbage since Pirlo was left off that Euro team. I think Chile is out right? That's a shocker considering they won the last 2 Copas I think? And with the quality of their players. Some surprises for sure. If Argentina never made it the WC would be a shit show. As much as I hate to say it, as of now I don't see a better team than the Germans. We'll see what the rosters look like though in a few months from now.

Ventura messed up bigtime. The entire nation wanted Lorenzo Insigne on, why in the world did he not bring him on for the entire match, he could have surely provided the impetus Italy so badly needed. What a horrendous decision.

Hope he doesn't. The core of this "new" post-Zlatan Swedish team is from the side that won the U21 Euro Championship in 2015. Great morale and I don't think the inclusion of Z would be a positive one.
