Probably because this is the last Home Game for UNLV, they are 4-5 with bowl game possibilities rather strong, and BYU is a terrible 2-8.

Is Bryce Love playing tonight for Stanford?.....Washington’s best win was at UCLA?... Washington is not as good as they were on offense last season.
Stanford may keep it close... as long as they don’t punt the ball to Dante Pettis.

Washington needs to make a statement. Definitely still alive. Miami can beat ND, then lose to Clemson. TCU or OU lose this weekend, then the other loses later. Wisconsin goes down, and there ya go. One loss Washington can at least bitch if that happens and they get left out.

UW wins by 10+. Their defense will feast against a team that is one dimensional. (Look what they did to Oregon last week). If you merged both Stanford QB's together, they would still suck. The UW offense isn't what is used to be, but they will cover 6, no problem.

It really does not matter. Washington is NOT going to get a playoff bowl bid. They will most likely go to the Cotton Bowl. Maybe the Fiesta Bowl if USC loses to either Colorado or UCLA.
