I have been going to the hoods since I was 24 years old and I'm in in my late 40's today.. I managed apartment buildings in Compton for a management Company, that's how I was introduced to the hood, got to know many people and see the lifestyle first hand... I typically got along with everyone also..

I understand the hood very well.. I have many black friends in Compton today and I still keep in touch with some of them... Mexicans are taking over Compton and doing most of the shootings and killings now.. It wasn't always like that here in So Cal years ago.. I also notice the life expectancy in general is much shorter for Black males in the hood because of their diet and lifestyle...

That's just my general view of it all..
