They probably felt that his best days were behind him and it wasn't worth the trouble.

Mixon knocked a girl out on video and he is playing.
Kaeps has played 69 games in his career, only 6 of 300+ yards. His last 3 years his QB rating is well below average. He wasn't exactly killing it. And wasn't Mixons incident when he was in High School or something?

That is what I was getting at. If he was tearing shit up passing for 4,000 yards a season with 30 TDs, the kneeling would be overlooked and he would still be playing.

Then again, if he were putting up those kinds of numbers, there never would have been a QB controversy in San Francisco which led to him sitting during for the anthem.

exactly, I posted it months ago and it's really simple.....'The juice ain't worth the squeeze' it has absolutely 0 to do with race, injustices, social issues, collusion etc. etc. ALL it boils down to is the bullsh*t media circus and drama he brings with him ain't worth what his talents are. Simple as that, end of discussion. Even If an owner/team has a choice between a backup who rates at 5/10 and Kap rates at 6/10 the guy who is a 5 is still 'better for business' again see media circus/drama etc. why is this so f*cking hard for people to comprehend?

Can the owners pool some money together and sign him to the league minimum and call it a charity write-off?

No one will sign him now, even if they wanted to, since he filed his lawsuit. I'm sure any team that might have even had a passing thought to sign in him the past week have been advised against it by their attorneys.

The settlement will be like a worker's comp settlement.........

If we honor you (the plaintiff's) lawsuit, you (the plaintiff) can never be employed by the NFL again..........
