#9As I have said several times, Elliott will probably play this entire season uninterrupted and then serve first 6 games of next year. Lawyers will just keep appealing until this NFL off-season.Comment -

#10Brady started a trend here. We will see this with every star player that gets suspended. The average player will not appeal like this because they would be out of a job.Comment -

#15All this does is push everything back a week, now zeke will miss all of the fantasy playoffs
From Goodell perspective he has no choice but to pursue this all the way to the end. If not his authority amongst players is over
Zeke camp a bunch of idiots, would've been better to serve the suspension early on and he would've been back by nowComment -

#17Exactly. I can't stand this fukkin league anymore. It's the sports version of Days of our Lives. Fantasy and gambling is truly the only thing keeping it afloat. And I think I'm done with it in those regards too.Comment -

#19Not really, dude was never even charged with anything yet this pos commish wants to drag his name thru mud and suspend him for something he very well might not have done? Can't blame him one bit, I would fight it till very end as well, damn what games I might miss I wouldn't just sit quietly.

This entire situation has long since crossed the line of whether or not zeke did it or not

#24LMAO,so if a guy beats a women and pays her off to not testify against him the NFL shouldn't suspend them because there were no charges. The NFL spent 6 months investigating the case, they wouldn't have suspended him unless they had clear evidence. Cowboys should have just had Elliot sit out 6 games at the beginning of the year, if the suspension is upheld now he will miss the end of the season and the playoffs if they make them.
Actually, there wasn't clear evidence. The police did not have the evidence to bring charges, even the NFL's own investigator, the only NFL official that interviewed the woman, said there was no credible evidence against Zeke and advised against disciplinary action. The NFL's investigator was squelched, her findings and recommendations were not allowed in the report to Goodell and his committee and she was barred from the disciplinary meeting as well.
This is a case of Goodell overreaching and trying to make up for their failures with the Ray Rice and Josh Brown cases. Goodell bungled this from the start, there are tons of inconsistencies in their procedures and handling. They were going to hang someone whether they could prove it or not.Comment -

#27nah, suspension wouldn't count for playoffs.league is ripe for a cowboys Super Bowl win. everyones hurt and Philly is unproven thus far. Seattle and Philly are the only other contenders and Dallas is strong in the trenches so they could certainly win the nfc.. pats get another cake walk because the only qb with the balls to move the ball on them tore his acl yesterday. what a joke.Comment -

So 7-1 and they are "unproven".......that cowboy playoff record over the last 15 years really shows how proven they are
why the hatred for Philly?Comment -
