It really made no sense to use your #4 starter, when he has pitched average ball all season with a losing record, and not utilize the best pitcher since Pedro and Maddux.

Kershaw should have pitched games 1,4 and 7.

Imo you always have to put the ball in your best player's hands in game 7 if he's healthy/ready. Denying Kershaw that right will be something that is talked about for many years.

"All In" on a game as random as baseball is always a -EV play. Surely experienced gamblers should never bet more than 15% of bankroll on any one play.

Kershaw on 2 days rest after giving up a bunch of runs? It's hindsight but have to think that you could get at least a few good innings out of Yu. Plus if you did give up runs, rather have given them up in early innings when you have a chance to come back. How is this thread not about how incredible the stros pitchers were last night?? I had nothing on game so not biased.
