Been a fan since August 7, 1977 when I saw my first game at the Astrodome. Astros lost 5-2 to the Cardinals. Had 2 on base in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs. Wilbur Howard struck out to lose the game.

Roberts has ass raped his pen. They better hope they hit McCullers early. Granted, with my luck I missed all three damn games played in Houston. I come home, and they're up 3-2 and can't close it in LA. I may not watch for good luck. They win tomorrow regardless. McCullers, Keuchel, and Giles will do fine over fckin Darvish, Alex Wood, and a bunch of guys with dead arms.

ive been an astros fan since I was a mere toddler in the early 70's......

I have lived with the pain of every wasted opportunity dating from the 1980 meltdown all the way to the meltdown last night of having runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and not being able to score.....

being an astros fan is to be in pain, misery, disappointment, disgust (yes, hinch, I'm still disgusted that when I walked out of the can after the 8th inning in game 4 and saw that your stupid mother fukkin' ass had pulled devensky and put in giles, such that it prompted me to yell out "ARE YOU MOTHER FUKKIN' KIDDING ME????" in a bar full of less knowledgable astros fans/bandwagon fans who weren't sure of the source of my disgust until about four minutes later when the shelling of that fukkin' loser was complete and he given the hook), and most every other negative emotion you can have at a team that has never done shit but break our f'n hearts.....

unfortunately, I don't see any of this shit getting any better tonight.....

dodgers take it..... my money is goin' in on L.A.... the tiny amount here, whatever I have at betpop.eu, and a half a dime with my local.

hopefully I lose the bets (but I know I won't)

They might be the best club team in the world but only in America could people celebrate being world champions after winning a domestic competition.

A real world club championship like soccer has would be a good thing for the sport. The 6 US divisional winners, winner from Japan and Cuba maybe, then a one week playoff for 4 spots for league winning teams from the rest of the world.

I'd bet my left ball a USA team would not win it every year.

And don't try to give me that guff about The World newspaper btw!
