#10If it hadn't been 30+ years I'd consider dumping the Phins as my favorite right now.
At least he went to my 2nd team but what in the world
I was just told that no one has been running plays right in Miami especially Ajayi, who hasn't been blocking or running well to the outside so this is about making a statement to the team more than anything.
Feels like we just threw away what could've possible been a playoff year.
Bizarro.Comment -

#14The Eagles needed a left tackle, the offensive line was horrible against San Francisco and Peters career was likely over at age 35. Ajayi is a solid player but the need was offensive line not running back. I think they should have made an offer for Brown.Comment -

#17The dolphins O-line is abysmal, Ajayi's bruising style of running and breaking tackles wasn't working out with their situation but I'm disappointed we couldn't get a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him. Ajayi has also been known to complain (left at home on trip to Seattle last season when complained about not starting) and I'm imagining after last week he was causing problems in the locker room. On the bright side we have Damien Williams and Kenyan Drake who are fast elusive backs who have shown flashes of potential and now they will get an oppurtunity to show what they can do. With the remaining schedule and how bad the oline/qb situation is dolphins weren't going to have a shot at the playoffs anyways, probably safe to bet against them especially this week against the raiders (raiders listed as -2.5 favorite)Comment -

#25Move Lane Johnson to left tackle, run the T-formation set w/ Blount & Ajayi. Wentz could make his coffee and read the paper back there. Game over

Mia competitive in East w that D.
This makes no sense for a 4th rounder, guy is elite with several great years ahead.
Don't see why you flush a playoff push at 3-3Comment -

#29Megatron talks................
5) WR Calvin Johnson - Detroit Lions (RETIRED)
Why a trade makes sense: Reports surfaced Sunday that the Lions were fielding calls from teams potentially seeking to trade for the rights of retired All-Pro wide receiverCalvin Johnson.
Johnson would instantly add a potentially game-changing weapon to the Eagles' passing game opposite Alshon Jeffery, and give Wentz yet another premier target over the second half of the season.
However, after signing an eight-year contract extension back in 2012, Johnson is signed through 2019 and carries a cap number of $21 million in 2017, meaning the Eagles would be on the hook for $10.5 million in cap space. As of Sunday, the Eagles have approximately $5.5 million in cap space.
Could Johnson restructure his deal to make under $4 million for the rest of this season? Would he commit to playing for 2-3 more years and sign a cap-friendly extension? Those things would likely need to happen in order to even facilitate legitimate trade talks.
What it could cost: Fifth and/or sixth-round pick.

So I guess Damian Williams is the starter now.
Now there are rumors that Landry might get traded. If I were Cutler, I would just quit.Comment -

Ajayi must have been one of the offensive players that Adam Gase was talking about in his rant after last week's game
Gase said numerous starters didn't study the playbook in their free time and learning in meetings was not enoughComment -

#34It’s not Payton or Simpson. The position isn’t the same as it used to be. Philly may have given too much. You’re messing with chemistry. This isn’t mlb. Their backfield of Wentz and anyone was working great.Comment -
