The Golden Knights have gotten off to a tremendous start, best ever for a rookie franchise. But the NHL has been easy on them, scheduling 8 of the their first 9 games at home. The visiting teams have all been a bit distracted, playing in Sin City for the first time. Tonight, it's the Knights who are on the road, and in the Big Apple no less. The ISLANDERS will be focused tonight and Vegas will come back to earth. Lay the -170 for one unit, and play the puckline -1.5, +160 for another unit.

Vegas is starting a lengthy road trip, well worth keeping an eye on fading them.

the team with the clearly better record is +166....best team in the league in fact.
vegas are probably starting their untested 2nd stringer in net which probably is the reason why there's so much juice on the isles.
plus all the reasons mentioned above.

1 game on a roadie usually means plenty of energy.

I'm gonna take a good look at fading these Knights throughout their long road trip. I expect a lot of losses. They've got the Rangers tomorrow night and the Bruins 2 days later.
