#76Although Alabama and Florida are charter members of the SEC, they have never been annual opponents.[24] They have met many times over the years, especially since the SEC Championship Game began in 1992. The Gators and the Crimson Tide have met seven times for the SEC championship.[24] On four occasions, the winner of a Florida-Alabama SEC title game has gone on to win a national championship. In 2008 and 2009, the teams were ranked first and second coming into the game. The second-ranked team won both times (Florida in 2008 and Alabama in 2009), with both conference champions going on to win the BCS National Championship Game. The Gators are no longer tied with Alabama (4-5) in SEC championship games after losing in 2016, and Alabama leads the overall series 25–14.[24]
Louisiana State
Main article: Florida–LSU football rivalry
Louisiana State and Florida first met on the football field in 1937, and have been annual opponents since 1971.[23] Since 1992, LSU has been Florida's permanent inter-divisional rival from the SEC Western Division. The winner of the Florida–LSU game went on to win the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) national championship game in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 seasons. This rivalry has been known recently for close games, with both teams highly ranked. Florida leads the all-time series, 32–28–3.[23]Comment -

I said lsu is their rival not Alabama so that's why your post was ridiculous
do I need to quote it again for you?
by the way, florida has played more games against LSU than FSU
so even when you sway the question, youre still lopsided a bitComment -

#87Main reason a big name coach may pass is that Florida is getting a rep of being a tough school to work at. $ can change that. Said it before, they could do a lot worse than Mullen. He will score points. His floor is also high. He may have the occasional 8-4, but he’s not going 4-8 or having the shit show they have this season.Comment -

#89This will be Mullens last chance to go to a school that has more than Mississippi State has to offer him. He and Florida's AD are tight. He is good for solid 8-4 or 9-3 seasons. That is about all Florida fans can ask for. Their glory days are over.Comment -

#90Don't understand why people say this? With the right coach, Florida can be a national title contender again, just like under Spurrier and Meyer. Hell, look at Notre Dame before Brian Kelly got there. Everyone and their uncle said Notre Dame will never be a title contender again. Since 2012, ND's been in the top 5 in Nov. 4 of the 6 seasons and they're knocking on the door this year. Florida just needs a guy who can recruit and put the right system in place to build a winner.Originally posted by BigdaddyQHThat is about all Florida fans can ask for. Their glory days are over.
Florida is one of the more elite programs in the country. If a coach is between Florida, Tennessee or UCLA, you bet your ass he's going to choose Florida. Much better chance at success. A big talent pool in the state of Florida.Comment -
