It's not everyone's cup of tea. I personally think it's a much better product than the NBA. Obviously CBB isn't as popular as the NFL, but maybe that's why there's more opportunity to win.

I've been crushing college hoops on SBR for 5 years now. Gonna make some major money this season!

Why did everyone bail on Memphis?

It’s kinda been a long process since the last couple of years under Paster. The latest purge was basically because Tubby came along and put Keelon Lawson (father of “the Lawsons” who are now gonna be playing in Kansas in 2018, and there’s two more in grade school) in an administrative role rather than as an assistant coach. They also left Keelon behind at the hotel before a road game. In general Tubby and his staff do everything the right way and don’t get involved in chicanery like having a guy in staff just so you can get all his sons. This type of stuff made the family pissed at Tubby in general, then when they left that’s pretty much what got Markel Crawford to leave, as it was clear this team was gonna blow goats and he is a three year graduate and could go wherever would take him. This was his last shot at getting to a tournament or any postseason at all, so I️ can’t blame him but Ole Miss was a stupid choice.

So now Memphis is heavily relying on JUCO transfers this year, and is working on getting some kids outta Memphis for 2018 and on, but Tubby just isn’t really a culture fit here. With all the talent in Memphis, you kinda have to play a little ball, you gotta kinda kiss these kids and their family’s asses and that just not what Tubby does. He likes to get 2 and 3 star church boys and “coach them up.”

Alabama should work then over in the first game. It’s too early, Memphis is too talent-deprived, and Bama has a lot going for them this year. Like always though, Tubby will have this team competitive in games where they should not be, so while they will be pretty goddamn bad, don’t just assume they will get rolled nightly.

Spread should be a lot lower than expected now that 5-star stud and dunk contest winner Collin Sexton has been ruled ineligible for Alabama. Still would expect Alabama to win though.

Cincy and USC will be good but they aren't sneaking up on anyone. I think Cinci is already ranked in the top 10 as they bring back basically everyone. USC also bringing back most everyone.

I like the Florida play to win the SEC but I think Mizzou is over-valued, I hope to see inflated spreads for them during the first half of the year.
I follow ACC the most, very curious to see how NC State, Virginia, and UL start the first half of the year.

All 3 players arrested - now out on bail - are non-factors for UCLA, including Ball. They'll be just fine without them friday night.

The big deal is G-tech suspensions to key players.

I know Wisconsin is predicted to be 7th in the B1G, but I just don't believe it when was the last time the badgers didn't finish in the top 3 in the B1G???
