you are both wrong...monday night game ends at say 11:30pm eastern, thursday starts at say 8:30pm eastern...less than 3 days, more than 2...your welcome

When you watch the games you can see there really is no game plan. If you play on Sun you basically have one day to put a game plan in and you dont even get to practice the plan. The games are so vanilla and poorly played.

I played in college. Sometimes it takes 3 days just to get rid of the bumps and bruises.

Pretty simple really, we rather see the games being played with guys on sufficient rest and with time to implement game plans. not to mention the unfairness it creates having to play that game as I don't believe it a situation where every team plays it and a equal amount of times so it hurts credibility of standings and also the extra advantage it creates for teams the following week after getting extended time following playing in it.

Unfortunately your thoughts echoed by enough that they will not only keep playing it but eventually figure out a way to give you a Tuesday or wed game also when they expand schedule to 18 games (something tells me you will like this terrible idea as well).. more isn't always better! The only thing they need more of in the NFL is real practices in training camp so we don't have to sit thru sept now being garbage because none of the guys hit in preseason anymore..
