Give them time.

Don't need much experience to play well in the East.

Philly should be in the race for the playoffs by the season's end.

Don't forget Embiid is on a minutes limit, which will be lifted in the next couple weeks.

Embiid is the 2nd best center in basketball after Cousins.

He alone will keep them afloat.

went to the opener Friday night.....place sold out and great atmosphere.....my concern is that they don't appear to play defense....Simmons is the real deal

It takes time for a team to jell defensively. By December we'll know what this team can do. I'm more worried about Fultz than anyone else on that roster. He's afraid to take the jumper because his shoulder hurts, unfortunately the entire NBA knows this and they wait for him to drive and block every damn shot he takes! I bet by season's end they shut him down for shoulder surgery. First pick of the damn draft and he's hurt, go figure. Embiid dominates down low, so what do they do? Put him at the 3 pt line and let him hit the front of the rim 10 times before they low post him.

Brett Brown has his work cut out for him.

Simmons on the other hand looks like the rookie of the year. 3 games, 3 double-doubles. He'll be a great one.
