He's a rookie who has a loudmouth dad who is playing under the biggest spotlight in the NBA. I get that we all want immediate results, but I think everyone needs to just chill about this kid. He is barely more than a year removed from playing in a HS gym.
Here's the other thing - What were the Lakers other options at PG? D Russell?? Cancer and now injured. Plus the Lakers got significant cap relief a got rid of the worst FA signing in recent memory in Mozgov. Trade for ____???? Who is going to give the Lakers a starting PG without asking for key pieces in return? No one. FA PG? Nothing worth ruining your salary cap over. Regardless Lakers should have picked Tatum and developed Russell. The trade was not good. Only a Lakers apologist would say otherwise.
