^^ The longest running Craigslist scam is they call you and say "they live out of state and can I send you a cashiers check and then can you immediately ship out out the merchandise to me".. They usually text you on this first.

They begin asking you for your personal information which is never good.. They say they will pay a little more then the asking price to get the scam going...

The fake cashiers check comes in your name in the mail and the scammer then hopes you send out the merchandise before you try and clear the bogus check..

    These come in fakes too...

Who didnt have an old relative who used to fall for the old Publisher's Clearing House scams. They send those mailings all the time saying youre a winner while theyre purchasing tons of magazines and never winning of course.

If you're ignorant enough to not see this as a scam..

It would of been, just a matter of time before someone else would swindled you dry..........

I remember those penny for 10 records scams back when I was 12 years old.. Mail in a penny if I remember correctly and you start getting records and tapes mailed to you.. Few months later you get a bill for $100 or more, then you catch a beating from your parents because you can't pay the bill... Been there done that as a punk kid....

You dumb f**ks in here bitch and moan about overseas scammers, yet you GIVE your money away to overseas books. You deserve all the problems that you get. A three year old with a decent amount of money can set up a scam proof account through Vegas Casino's but you broke f**ks want your freebies, which end up costing you much more in the long run. Try getting off your stupid arses and actually doing some work, instead of looking for freebies all of the time. Many of you people in here are pathetic.

There is a new scam going on in the rich neighborhoods.. Guy drives around in a beater and gets real close to your car, then comes up at a the next red light screaming at you to pull over... He says "You hit me, what the fock".. Usually the scammer targets elderly drivers, the scammer points to some bumper or existing side damage and says you did this while in a rage.. Then says I need money to fix this...

He then claims he doesn't have insurance and will fix it on his own and wants cash for the fix, a few hundred... Sometimes they get someone to pay cash other times they don't..

It's a scam and they tried that with me, I got out of the car and the guy said my bad no hit and took off.. He was yelling at me though to pull over and I hit him.. He was raging.. I was thinking to myself I didn't hit anyone and I will pull over.. I was then like that guy just tried to scam me but saw I was not an elderly weak guy.. He panicked.. I wasn't quick enough to write down his plate number and report him unfortunately...

                            This happened last year...

Was humoring a lad trying to scam me about hitting the lottery in costa rica on the phone one day.

I won millions and they wanted $2500 to process. I said take it out of my winnings. Oh, we can't do that.
How about you pay for it, send me the money and I will pay you back. (reverse scamming) Fukked him up.
                                Never called again.

These old people simply don't know better. Gotta think that in years to come as this technology generation gets older this scam will completely die off, no one will fall for it. But these old dudes who were born in the fukkin 30s have no idea.

Reminds me of this similar IRS scam:

Funny for a while until the scammer shows his USA hatred:
