The Redskins are a solid team. The last two times we saw them, they manhandled the Raiders and they gave the Chiefs all they could handle prior to that miracle cover. The 49ers on the other hand are kinda shitty. They’re off two consecutive overtime losses, both on the road. The last one was all the way in Indianapolis in an early game. They must now go all the way back to DC for another early game from the west coast in their third straight road game in as many weeks. The Redskins meanwhile are off a bye. They haven’t played a game since the silliness in KC. I am of the opinion that they win huge this week. Also, in case you were wondering, I’m not always right (see my thread about the Texans beating the Chiefs last week).

They will have plenty of scoring chances just comes down to if they can finish enough drives with tds opposed to fgs, red zone been their biggest problem on offense the last 2 years.. tough to cover double digits if ya kicking fgs instead of scoring tds..

I think they will eventually wear niners down and expect them to score 30ish. Can they hold niners to less than 20 without Norman and one of their safeties?

It is tough to lay double digits in the NFL but I think this one’s double digits for good reason. Of course it’s always easy to paint a scenario where any game NFL goes one way or the other. I got a good feeling about this one though. I guess we’ll see.

I think the Niners have been overachieving, resulting in those close losses, and there’s a bit of a situational collapse today to further help them fully regress kinda all at once if you will.

Started off so damn well. Seemed like I had this one nailed. No-name backup qb gave Niners a spark. Crazy how this game and Falcons were 17-0 reasonably well into the game and Falcons lost outright and Redskins were an offensive pass interference penalty away from Niners having a shot at a field goal for the win.

NFL is a difficult beast. A shitty difficult beast.
