I said it yesterday. McCann played with a lot of these kids, and knows their weaknesses. If the scores stay low, and the Astros win the series, McCann is the unofficial MVP of this series.

After Pujols and the Cardinals stole that game, I had instant remembrances of Houston blowing the 5-2 lead in Game 5 against the 1980 Phillies, and the 3-0 9th inning lead in Game 6 against the 1986 Mets.

yep, even today i'd probably kill tug mcgraw or lenny f'n dykstra if I saw them on the streets....

still love the memory of hatcher nailin' the shit out of that homer in the dome...... i was still at a&m that year, and we drove down for a helluva lot of games.... were there the day before scott closed it out.....
