The guy must be a very good motivator type coach he turned a very average cubs team into champions now they are world beaters.

To say they were average is pretty misleading. They were obviously amassing talent and he got on board at the right time. He is a good motivator and players like him and usually his decisions are solid, but he can get a bit wacky at times.
Aside from the players, the front office deserves the most credit. Theo will go down as the best front office man of all time.Comment -
