He does the Mets games on SNY and I believe he does Sunday games on TBS.

He does a good job on the Mets games and is enjoyable when paired with Keith Hernandez.

Love Gary, Keith & Ron for the Mets... I've listened to a lot of baseball announcing and it is dreadful, I can't believe how small the talent pool out there is and I can't believe 3 of the best are working for the Mets.

I think Ron started at least 10 years ago for the Nationals, I remember listening to his first year and it was terrible. He has definitely came into his own.

A few years back me and a friend of mine stayed at the team hotel in Alexandria when the Mets were playing the Nats. We were drunk off our ass at the bar. We noticed Ron sitting a few seats down talking to a hot blonde. My friend decides to go say hello breaking into their conversation. I'm thinking this won't end well. To my surprise, Ron was very pleasant and shook my friends hand and exchanged pleasantries. Tells you what kind of guy Ron really is (or maybe he was just acting nice in front of his lady friend).

He is good, he does Mets games, so I have seen a lot of him over the years. Very knowledgeable about the game. TBS was smart to put him on the squad.
