USA Unemployment claims fall to lowest level in 43 years

The total number of laid-off workers receiving unemployment benefits fell to 1.89 million at the end of September, the Department of Labor reported Thursday, the lowest such mark in nearly 44 years.

And new claims for unemployment benefits dropped 15,000 to 243,000 in the first full week of October, according to the agency, as the job market bounces back from hurricane damage even faster than forecasters expected.

One thing I liked about candidate Trump, as opposed to President Trump, is that he was a lot more honest/critical of these reports. I wish that he could say that the reports seem promising, but also maintain the view he held.

Dante I think you would agree Trump is pro business in the way Obama was anti business.

Markets and consumer confidence has soared since Trump defeated Hillary and Republicans held the Senate and House. I even think we both agree Trump killed the Paris accord and has used EA to roll back Obama's anti business EA's. I also think we could agree Trump has cleared the way for numerous projects Obama smothered such as the Keystone pipeline.

I know it's painful to see but Trump is doing what he can and it's working.
