My hate for the Yankees? That's not it at all... I've never seen such an unathletic pitcher in my life. First time I actually watched CC pitch all year was last night. How the fuk can he even pitch on one leg without tipping over?

Yankees are wild card..houston was pretty much same as clev to win world series. I think the line represents how good Houston is vs a wild card team. I don't root for teams..but the fact that you had a team go 27 and 1 and lose in first round is bad. Fact is..the regular season is entertainment...thats it..now if the fans who.pay those prices realized it..that would be good.

Severino Game 2 and CC Game 3 were etched in stone lining up CC for Game 7. What Yanks did is flip-flop Gray and Tanaka, with latter originally listed for Game 4. So now Tanaka gets 2 starts Game 1-5 and Gray only gets one start.

Line as same as it was versus very good tribe team.

Pinny had +149 on that one. In seven game series Yanks have a clear advantage especially with middle three at home.

I wouldn't say Yankees should be favored, but edges Astros have in pitching and offense are not that much. Pitching edge is almost negligible.

Overall team xFIP: Astros 3.77, Yankees 3.82
Starters xFIP: Astros 3.81, Yankees 3.83
Relievers xFIP: Astros 3.69. Yankees 3.80

Offensively, yes the Asros led all of baseball with an amazing wRC+ of 121, but the Yankees were second at 108.

Bottom line, yes the Astros grade out better but not -175 better.

they should not be favored but to me starting pitching is dead even, Astros offense is better, and yankees bullpen is better.
