Sunday is the day where you have the turkey and shit. Monday is the holiday to get the day off

we just get today off. had one dinner yesterday and will have another today

Biggie doing it right.

Between family and other gatherings I manage about 3 or 4 Thanksgiving meals through the week, during the US Turkey week.

Then there's left overs for the next week.

Although I prefer the USA Thanksgiving in terms the NFL games, it's nice to have a long weekend to start October to just chill. Hell, I celebrate both, maybe you Yanks should do the same.
