Rake too high and they segregate the sharks from the fish

It's like going into a big Vegas poker room where you have to sit at a table with all the shills and regulars and they take $15 rake from a $100 pot. Actually it's worse because you have to pay taxes on fantasy if u do win.

I remember playing against this guy when I was into fantasy, and it never ended well for me.

Was he the guy that also played in the World Series of Poker Main Event and got to the final table, or am I thinking of someone else?

He hasn't been maxdalury for a long time. He changed his name to SaahilSud which is his real name.

I played DFS for a living from 2013-2016.5. I only played NFL and NBA and was top 20 on the RotoGrinder leaderboard every season I played for NBA. It's unbeatable now. Unbeatable in the sense that I'd need to play $10k a day to make $200 a day. That's not worth it to me seeing as I was spending 5-6 hours a day doing everything. Contests too big/rake too high/competition too good. So much cheap information that's good available out there and it really killed the industry. None of these sites are even making money yet and if they aren't now then they never will.

No, it's still winnable, stay away from multi entry contests, stay with single entry and max 20 entry contest.
When filling out your roster go contrarian, don't go with public picks.

From what i read in the other forum his picks are posted free. Only his RotoQL daily fantasy is paid stuff.
But i am trying to find where he posts. Any tech junkie out here know what exactly is google forum?

His Rotoql site has nothing about sports betting.

You can win but you don't get paid the right odds. The rake the shit out of you. Those $4 to $8 contests that guarantees 75k to 300k gets raked over 30% which is insane. highest rake i saw was around 37%. it was a 150k guaranteed tournament but with all the entries it added up to over 200k but only 150 of that was paid out. most players don't even pay attention to those things. all the players think they are skilled because those sites make as many people as possible win so that they keep playing to lose to rake without realizing. 1st prize in those tournaments are 2 to 3% of the pot which is a joke.

Max Steinberg is the only player at this final table who already has a WSOP bracelet on his poker resume. He won a $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event in 2012. He’s also made a name for himself in the world of daily fantasy sports, and actually won his Main Event entry on Draftkings, an official WSOP sponsor.

Maxdalury's wiki page has 2 sites, one is rotoql.com which is paid daily fantasy site and the other is maxdalury.com which is a free handicapping site. In the latter, i found where he posts https://groups.google.com/forum/#!fo...ry-sports-tips

I see 2 for today.

NFL: LA Chargers at NY Giants
LA Chargers +3 @ 1.91 for risk of 2 units

MLB: Cleveland (Carrasco) at NY Yankees (Tanaka)
NY Yankees to win @ 1.98 for risk of 2 units

SO he makes 2, 3, 4 and 5 unit plays. 2 unit plays are his smallest plays and majority of his plays are 2 units. His 4 unti and 5 unit plays are undefeated so far but only a few plays. Basically his unit size indicates the % of bankroll. so 2 unit is 2% bankroll according to his blog.

You can check yourself. He posts them publicly. I don't see anything posted for today. I did a quick check and his first post dates back to may 26. since then he has had only 66 plays. That is about 15 plays every month.
